Dental Emergencies
Sudden Oral Swelling
Sudden swelling of the gums, jaw, or face usually signals infection and needs prompt care. We prioritise swelling cases the same day to drain infection safely and start treatment.

Common questions
Is oral swelling dangerous?
It can be — spreading dental infections need urgent treatment. Contact us the same day; if swelling affects breathing or swallowing, go to an emergency hospital immediately.
What will the dentist do?
Identify the source, relieve pressure/drain if needed, prescribe appropriate medication, and plan definitive treatment.
Can I just take antibiotics?
Antibiotics alone rarely fix the cause — the source (tooth or gum) must be treated.
