Root Canal Treatment (RCT)
A root canal removes infection from inside the tooth so you can keep it — no extraction needed. With modern rotary instruments and proper anaesthesia, most RCTs at our clinic are completed comfortably in one or two sittings.

Common questions
Does a root canal hurt?
The tooth is fully anaesthetised. Most patients describe the procedure as no more uncomfortable than a filling.
How long does RCT take?
Most RCTs are completed in 1–2 sittings of 45–90 minutes using rotary endodontic instruments.
What should I do after an RCT?
Avoid chewing on the treated side until the permanent restoration is placed, and take medication as advised. We schedule a follow-up to check healing.
